Spring 2012

Online registration is now available for Spring Soccer 2012, a recreational in-house league for boys born 1996 (U16) through 2007 (U5). U11 and U12 age groups are combined, as are U13 and U14, and U15 and U16.

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE, LEAGUE SCHEDULE AND FEES:

Registration will close at 11:55 PM on March 16, 2012 (or when all spots are taken, whichever comes first) so that there is sufficient time for Age Group Coordinators to finalize team officials and develop team rosters with coaches.

The spring soccer season starts on Saturday, April 14, 2012 and continues through to June 23, 2012 (10 games in total). Games are on Saturdays at South Surrey Athletic Park turf fields, with one outdoor practice per week. The practice schedule cannot be confirmed until closer to start of season. There will be no games on May 19 (Victoria Day weekend).

The tentative game times are as follows:

Until February 29, 2012 the Registration Fee is $100. After this date the fee increases to $125. The Registration Fee includes soccer jersey, shorts and socks that the player can keep.  Players who are not registered and not playing with a BC Soccer Club for Fall 2011–12 soccer season must pay an additional $25 to cover membership/insurance fees for BC Soccer Association.

There is a $25 cancellation fee for any registration cancellations, no exceptions.  No refunds will be issued after April 30, 2012.  All NSF cheques are subject to a $20 charge.

VOLUNTEERS:

Please consider volunteering as a team official (i.e. coach, assistant coach, team manager) or age group coordinator.  All are very much needed for a successful spring season!

Each Team Official is required to complete (or have already completed) a Criminal Record Check at the RCMP Detachment in their city of residence, as well as the online Risk Management Form “A”. The CRC is valid for three years. Please go to Risk Management.

Spring Soccer Volunteers (team officials must complete their CRC/RMF) will receive a Volunteer Fee Credit Number in May 2013 that can be used towards Fall Soccer 2013-14 registration. Spring Soccer 2012 and Fall Soccer 2012-13 are part of the Volunteer Period of April 1 to March 31. Please go to Volunteers.

ONLINE REGISTRATION:

Please select the appropriate age group link below to start online registration. There may be Wait Lists in place for “sold out” age groups. Please send an email to the Club Administrator; in the subject line, include the text ”(insert Age Group) Wait List” and in the message give player name and birth year.
